Grassroots offers help around Suicide Awareness Prevention
- They offer training
We deliver courses on suicide prevention, mental health first aid, and understanding self-harm. Book a place through our Eventbrite page. We can deliver inhouse courses to your organisation or group – for enquiries email training@prevent-suicide.org.uk.
- They have a free Stay Alive suicide prevention app
The Stay Alive app is our suicide prevention resource for the UK and beyond, packed full of useful information and tools to help you stay safe in crisis. You can use it if you are having thoughts of suicide or if you are concerned about someone else who may be considering suicide. Download it from the App Store or Google Play Store.
- An interactive Real Talk About Suicide Film
‘Real Talk about Suicide’ is an interactive video showing what can we do when trying to help a person with suicidal thoughts. There are no pointless or arbitrary choices. Every option is based on insights from suicide prevention experts into what you should and shouldn’t do.
- Fundraise
All money donated to Grassroots goes towards our key work. You can make a one-off donation, or become one of our fundraisers.
